Facebook Now Supports Livestreaming from Laptops and Desktop Computers

Facebook users around the world can now livestream a video from their laptops and desktop computers. The social media giant has previously allowed livestreaming on smartphones only.

 

How to Livestream on Facebook from a Laptop

Doing a Facebook Live on a laptop is as easy as clicking Live Video on the post composer, adding details about the video and then choosing the preferred audience.

Click on Live Video to create a Facebook livestream.

A preview will be available to ensure that you look your best.

 

Facebook Live with Third-party Camera or Software

Facebook has also added support for using professional cameras, software or other equipment in making a livestream video.

Using Facebook to livestream a game.

This has been available for Facebook Pages for some time. Now, Facebook Profile accounts are supported too.
