Apple has announced a special event happening on September 10, 2026 at 1:00 am Philippine Standard Time (PST).
This is likely for the official launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Both smartphones will feature similar designs as the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max but with slightly different dimensions, better cameras, more uniform paint jobs and bigger batteries.
Possible introduction of iPhone Fold too!
It’s also possible that Apple will have another “one more thing” moment as they introduce their first ever foldable smartphone. This could be simply named as the iPhone Fold.
It will be a passport-style foldable smartphone similar to the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. We could finally see Apple’s take on the foldable form factor and make it even more mainstream.
No regular iPhone 18 yet
What’s more interesting is the absence of a regular iPhone 18. Apple is said to have decided to launch it sometime in March 2027.
It will be launched alongside the more affordable iPhone 18e which will share some of its components. Manufacturing the two models at the same time may lead to cost-saving benefits for the company to counteract rising component costs.
Apple is reportedly trying its best not to increase iPhone prices.
