The Samsung Galaxy A20 has a dual rear camera setup composed of a 13 Megapixel main camera and a 5 Megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also has an 8 Megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Here are 8 sample pictures I took using the phone’s cameras in different situations and lighting conditions.
This first sample picture is a close up of two birds at the Manila Ocean Park birdhouse. Notice the colors of the birds and the natural background blur of the camera’s lens.
Here’s another sample picture with a more regular subject. This one shows the dynamic range of the phone’s camera. Both the ceiling of the train station and the trees in the background are bright enough.
The two pictures above show the difference when using the Samsung Galaxy A20’s normal 13 Megapixel camera versus the ultra-wide 5 Megapixel camera. The latter shows more of the scene but with lesser details and brightness.
If you’re wondering about the low light capability of the Samsung Galaxy A20, here’s your answer. This is a photo of the Venice Grand Canal Mall at night.
It captured the beautiful scene albeit with muted colors and hazy lights.
Selfies from the Samsung Galaxy A20 look okay. It’s good enough for sharing on social media but details aren’t as sharp as the pricier Galaxy A30.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 does take great close-up pictures of flowers, food, and other subjects. It’ll impress you if this is your favorite type of photography.
I’ll leave you with this picture of a penguin. Of course, it’s captured by the Samsung Galaxy A20.
