Happy New Year everyone! For the first month of the year 2021, the POCO X3 NFC regained the number 1 spot in our list of the top 10 smartphones in the Philippines.

This is based on the number of pageviews each smartphone specs page received for the entire month. PINOY TECHNO GUIDE received a total of 1.7 million pageviews with 2.3% or 38,760 pageviews landing on the POCO X3 NFC.

Last month’s number 1 smartphone, the vivo Y20i, is now in second place with 28,776 pageviews while the POCO M3 remains at the third spot with 27,091 pageviews.

The regular Cherry Mobile Aqua S9 which was officially released in mid-December last year jumps to fourth place with 26,649 pageviews. However, the Aqua S9 Max was pushed down to eleventh place.

What really surprised me with this month’s rankings is how the new Xiaomi Redmi 9T skyrocketed in its popularity. It was only launched on January 27, 2021, and it already achieved a whooping 22,718 pageviews!

Meanwhile, OPPO secured two spots on the list – the OPPO A12 with 21,819 pageviews in sixth place followed by the OPPO A53 with 20,762 pageviews in seventh place.

The realme C15 is realme’s sole entry on the list with 20,287 pageviews in eighth place while another Xiaomi device, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 with 18,323 pageviews got the ninth place.

Lastly, the new Samsung Galaxy A12 occupies the tenth place with 15,045 pageviews. It’s an affordable smartphone but ultimately drowned by devices from more aggressive brands.
