Google’s Android One project has finally been made official in the Philippines with two smartphones – one from Cherry Mobile and another from MyPhone.

Android One smartphones are under direct supervision from Google in terms of hardware choices ensuring compatibility for the newest version of Android and an affordable price tag. The two devices come with pure Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box!

The Cherry Mobile One and MyPhone Uno share a lot of similarities. Both are 4.5-inch quad core smartphones with 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.

The two also have dual SIM functionality with 3G connectivity. The only difference is that the Cherry Mobile One has twice the internal storage of the MyPhone Uno at 8GB.

Google ensures that the two are fast and responsive even after months of usage. Software updates will also be provided up to two years.

Check out the complete specs of the Cherry Mobile One and the MyPhone Uno.
