Meet the Cloudfone Next Infinity Quattro with Quad Cameras and 18:9 Display

Kudos for the Philippine smartphone brand Cloudfone – they are fighting back against international brands by launching the new Cloudfone Next Infinity Quattro!

It features a quad camera setup, trendy 18:9 aspect ratio display and a promising set of specs and hardware to provide smooth gaming performance.

Quad Cameras

The Cloudfone Next Infinity Quattro has a similar quad camera setup as the Huawei Nova 2i. That means there’s a dual camera at the back and dual selfie camera on the front.

It has higher resolution cameras though. It’s a selfie focused smartphone so the selfie cameras are 20 Megapixels and 8 Megapixels. The latter is used to produce bokeh effect or take wide angle group selfies.

Meanwhile, the rear cameras are 13 Megapixels and 5 Megapixels. It has Phase Detection Autofocus or PDAF and an LED flash too.

18:9 Display

Following the current trend, the Cloudfone Next infinity Quattro flaunts a 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The main advantage of this type of screen is an increase in size without making the phone too unwieldy since it’s taller, not wider than traditional smartphone screens.

Cloudfone also added a scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass layer on top of the front panel with 2.5D curved edges for better ergonomics.

However, it falls short in terms of resolution. It follows the lead of the Vivo V7+ with an HD+ or 720 x 1440 pixels instead of the FHD+ resolution found in the OPPO F5 and Huawei Nova 2i. This can be good for battery life though.

Performance

The Cloudfone Next Infinity Quattro uses the MediaTek Helio P25 chipset. It has an octa core CPU with a maximum speed of 2.6GHz and a Mali-T880 graphics processor running at 1GHz!

Along with 4GB of RAM, this is a promising setup for those who play heavy games or multi-task like crazy.

A 4010mAh battery powers the device.

The official price of the Cloudfone Next Infinity Quattro is ₱12,999.00. That’s a great deal considering how international brands set the price of their mid-range contenders.
