It’s one of Elephone’s first smartphones in the country and features a 5-inch HD display, quad core processor, 13 Megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop as the out of the box operating system.
The Elephone S1 has one obvious weakness though – it’s small capacity and non-removable 1,800mAh battery. If you’re okay with more frequent charging or using a power bank, this is fine.
It flaunts a glass cover for both the front and back as well as a metal strip that runs all around its sides. There’s also a customized skin over its Android Lollipop OS called Freeme OS.
