Excluding Android One smartphones, CloudFone is the first local brand in the country to announce Android 6.0 Marshmallow smartphones.

The new CloudFone Thrill HD and the cheaper Thrill Lite both run on Android’s latest version and boasts a body with metallic finish.

As its name suggests, the CloudFone Thrill HD has a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It also has a 1.3GHz quad core processor, 1GB of RAM and 3G connectivity.

There’s an 8 Megapixel camera at the back, 2 MP front snapper, 8GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot and 3G connectivity.

Its official price is ₱2,999.00.

The CloudFone Thrill Lite still has a 5-inch display but with a lower resolution of 480 x 854 pixels only. It also has the same 1.3GHz quad core processor but with half the amount of RAM.

Photography is handled by a 5 Megapixel main camera and a mere VGA front camera. Internal storage stays at 8GB but only up to 32GB memory cards are supported.

It’s certainly cheaper at ₱1,999.00 though. Battery capacity hasn’t been revealed for both devices.
