Two weeks into the year 2016, Cherry Mobile already announced a new affordable tablet with call and text capability called the Cherry Mobile Superion Radar Quad Plus.

It also boasts having Android 5.1 Lollipop as its operating system out of the box, a 7-inch display and official price tag of ₱2,999.00 only.

As its name suggests, the Cherry Mobile Superion Radar Quad Plus runs on a 1.3GHz quad core processor from MediaTek coupled with 1GB of RAM.

There’s a 2 Megapixel camera on its back and a mere VGA front camera. Storage is composed of 8GB built-in and up to 32GB using a microSD card.

Unboxing the Cherry Mobile Superion Radar Quad Plus.

It can connect to 3G HSPA+ networks and has all the usual wireless connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and even GPS (that’s why it’s named Radar).
