The Cherry Mobile Fuze S Might Be a Re-branded Intex Aqua Power

by Daniel Gubalane on Jan 16, 2015

A lot of PTG readers were excited when we posted an article about the Cherry Mobile Fuze S. Cherry Angel revealed it to be an octa core smartphone with a massive 4,000 mAh battery.

An anonymous tipster sent us a link to the Intex Aqua Power with a matching set of specs. Hence, this might be what Cherry Mobile ‘re-branded’ as the Fuze S or the two might be from the same OEM device.

The Cherry Mobile Fuze runs on a 1.4 GHz octa core processor from MediaTek with 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4 Kitkat as the operating system.

It has a 5-inch screen with a resolution of probably 480 x 854 Pixels only, not an HD panel. It also has an 8MP rear camera and a VGA front facing camera (a detail that differs from the Intex Aqua Power which has 2MP although that could easily be due to software interpolation).

Cherry Mobile Fuze S comes with 8GB of onboard storage, 3G HSPA+ connectivity, USB OTG support and of course, the battery which defines the Fuze series.

It will go on sale for ₱4,499 soon.
