Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro Now Available in the Philippines – Full Specs, Price and Features

Lenovo Mobile Philippines officially introduced the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro for phablet loving Filipinos who also want superb performance and cameras.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro boasts a 6-inch Quad HD display, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB RAM and a combo of 16MP and 5MP cameras for the back and front respectively! All these and more for an SRP of ₱29,999 – that’s flagship price for high end features.

Sadly, 6-inch smartphones are not my thing because I prefer those in the 4.5-5 inches range. Nevertheless, I know a lot of you and other Filipinos who are looking exactly for a phablet like the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro.

In terms of design, the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro already got you covered with its slim bezels maximizing the display area and making it easier to handle. It also has a metallic brushed-weave unibody design available in gold and titanium and black.

Its screen isn’t a slouch either coming in at Quad HD resolution or 2560 × 1440 pixels. That’s 490 pixels per inch! A layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects this enormous display from scratches.

Color options for the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro has a 2.5GHz quad core Krait CPU in a Snapdragon 801 chipset. This is coupled with an Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM to give you a super smooth Android 4.4 Kitkat experience and run any app or game without a glitch.

If you’re not a fan of the Lenovo Vibe 2.0 user interface, the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro also comes with an option to use the stock Android 4.4 kitkat instead. The company labeled this as ‘Dual OS’ but that’s not quite what’s meant by the term.

Photography enthusiasts will be very happy owning a Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro thanks to its 16MP camera with a true 16:9 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). On the front is a 5MP snapper for the selfie inclined Pinays and Pinoys.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro Camera sofware has a lot of options such as Night Mode for enhanced low light shots and this Pro Mode which looks a lot like the Nokia Smart Camera.

Of course, the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro has a lot of connectivity features as a flagship device. It has 4G LTE while still offering Dual SIM slots, dual band Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with GLONASS support.

It also has a compass, gyro and all the usual sensors for an Android smartphone. It supports Air Gestures,Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless display.

Its main disadvantage is its lack of a microSD card slot. There’s 32GB of onboard storage but that won’t be enough for hard core gamers who install a lot of games and videographers who shoot a lot of videos.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is priced at ₱29,999 in the Philippines.

On the positive side, those who need more than 32GB can plug in a USB flash drive using a USB OTG adaptor for additional storage space.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro also has a massive 4,000mAh Lithium Polymer battery that should be more than enough for the power consumption of the 6-inch display. It’s not removable though.

So, are you interested with the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro? It’s also known as the Lenovo K920 and should be available in major Lenovo outlets nationwide for ₱29,999.00.

If you prefer a smaller screen size and price, stay on the look-out for the Lenovo Vibe X2.
