The updated operating system of Blackberry Z30 brings several improvements like being able to reply to messages from the notification and view previews in the lock screen. There’s also a Blackberry Priority Hub to manage all your messages, notifications and emails.

Inside the 5-inch Blackberry Z30 is a 1.7GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 320 graphics processor. It’s not quad or octa core but those are only needed by Android.

Most notably, Blackberry says Z30’s battery can last up to 25 hours of mixed usage. It’s a 2,880 mAh standard Li-ion battery which is the largest ever fitted in a Blackberry handset.

Blackberry Z30 still has the premium feel of Blackberry Z10 but with a larger display fit for those who want it. It’s larger battery didn’t even made much effect with its thickness – just bumped up by 0.1mm.

The high definition 5-inch Super AMOLED display is stunning at 294 pixels per inch. It’s intuitive swiping navigation is still there so don’t ask me where’s the home button.

For the camera, there’s an 8 Megapixel one at the back and a 2 Megapixel at the front to cater you BBM video chat needs.

Blackberry Z30 Network and Connectivity

Blackberry Z30 is LTE capable with 3G and quad band GSM network. That should cover your needs but Blackberry also improved the antenna of Blackberry Z30 giving you better network reception.

Its update to Blackberry 10.2 also enabled WiFi Direct giving you the ability to transfer files via WiFi to other phones with WiFi Direct without the need for another router.
