When looking for cheap gadgets such as monopods or phone cases, I usually go to a CDR-King branch nearby or a mall with three letters in its name (168, 138, etc).

However, there are two online shops that offer the same cheap gadgets that we can comfortably shop in our laptops and smartphones – Lazada Philippines and Shopee Philippines.

Can you trust Lazada and Shopee?

I’ve bought several products from Lazada while my wife has been buying from Shopee. Our purchases range from smartphones, phone cases, earphones, gadget accessories and beauty products.

So far, I don’t have any bad experience with both online shops although my wife has experienced delayed shipments. However, I only buy from trusted sellers (4 stars at the minimum) while she’s more adventurous seeking the cheapest prices from new sellers.

Cash on Delivery and Payment Options

Both Lazada and Shopee offer cash on delivery, credit card, debit card and PayPal as payment options. Lazada also has Lazada Wallet and Shopee accepts bank deposits via Dragonpay.

However, there are some areas where cash on delivery can’t be selected as a payment option. There are also places where the item can’t be delivered door to door and has to be picked up. These are more common in rural areas.
