Cherry Mobile’s first Flare J1 smartphone was a success that they’ve updated it with a 2017 version. It tries to balance the specs with a very affordable price tag of ₱2,699.00 only.

The Cherry Mobile Flare J1 2017 boasts a 5-inch display with ‘durable LCD’. It’s not clear if this means scratch resistant since the company did not specify the type of glass.

It runs on a quad core processor with 1GB of RAM and has Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the operating system. There’s an 8 Megapixel camera at the back and a 5 Megapixel selfie shooter.

A 2300mAh battery powers the device.
