Happy Mobile, a relatively new mobile phone brand in the Philippines launched an interesting smartphone with a good set of specs at a relatively low price – the Happy Mobile Aspire.

It’s a 5.5-inch device running on an octa core processor from MediaTek, 2GB RAM and Android Kitkat OS. There’s also a 13MP camera at the back and another 8MP camera to take care of selfies at the front.

The Happy Mobile Aspire supports dual SIM functionality as well as 3G connectivity. There’s also gesture controls while the screen is on or off. Even wireless display via Miracast is supported!

It comes with 8GB of device storage and a microSD card slot for up to 32GB memory cards. Should you need more storage, USB OTG is supported.

Celebrity endorsers – they always work, right?

One good advantage that the Happy Mobile Aspire has is its battery – a healthy 3,200mAh worth of juice for the device. It also has an Aluminum frame so it should be sturdy enough.

However, the relative ‘newness’ of this brand might set some people wary of buying a smartphone with this price from them. To offset this, Happy Mobile gives you a free Quick View flip cover with each unit.
