Hewlett-Packard has just announced four new affordable Windows devices under their Stream series to compete with Android tablets and Chromebooks.

The HP Stream 7 Windows tablet is the cheapest at $99 or around ₱4,400 only among the four with a 7-inch display and the HP Stream 8 is another tablet with a larger screen. The HP Stream 11 is the cheapest Windows laptop at $199 (roughly ₱8,800) while the HP Stream 13 has a larger display for a higher price.

The four devices are of course, powered by an Intel processor and come with a 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal with 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage and 60 minutes of Skype per month.

The two HP Stream laptops are powered by an Intel Celeron processor with 32GB of eMMC flash memory (internal storage). The HP Stream 11 will be non-touch while the HP Stream 13 has a touchscreen version.

The four devices will be available in the US starting on November 2014. Hopefully, these can reach here in the Philippines before the holiday season. However, the pricing might be different.
