Sony Xperia Z1 Design and Build
The front and back panel of Sony Xperia Z1 is made out of tempered glass while its frame is a continuous piece of Aluminum making it very durable and have the premium feel. It does however, makes the phone slightly heavier than most smartphones at 169 grams.
Unlike the Nokia 1024 with its bulged back for its 41MP camera, Sony Xperia Z1 has a level back and with a thickness of 8.5mm.
Sony Xperia Z1 is available in black, purple and white.

Even though it launched on the same day as Google’s announcement of Android 4.4 Kitkat, Xperia Z1 still runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean – not even version 4.3.

Sony Xperia Z1 can connect to any LTE network around the world or 3G and 2G ones if LTE is not yet offered. That’s because it has an octa band LTE capability!
Of course, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB connectivity is present. It also has NFC, DLNA, Tethering, Computer syns, OTA sync and wireless display using Miracast technology.
