There are already two versions of the 5.5-inch Asus Zenfone 2. Another version with a MediaTek processor instead of an Intel Atom chipset is also rumored.
Now, another version of the Asus Zenfone 2 has leaked. This one is referred to as ZE500CL and has a smaller but more manageable 5-inch screen with HD or 720p resolution.
Meet the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE500CL:

This version of the Asus Zenfone 2 has lower specs than the very popular version with 4GB of RAM. Naturally, this should also have a lower price tag.
It runs on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop as the operating system. Its cameras are also reduced to a pair of 8MP and 2MP for the rear and front.

However, it will only have a single SIM slot but with 4G LTE connectivity. Internal storage is at 16GB and a 2,500mAh battery powers the smartphone.
These features are not yet confirmed. We’ll post an update once Asus officially launches this version of the Zenfone 2.
