Asus Philippines will officially launch the Zenfone 2 smartphones in the country on May 16, 2015. These will then be available for online purchase on Lazada.

It’s not yet clear which Zenfone 2 variants will be available but the 5-inch one (ZE550CL) and two 5.5-inch variants (ZE551ML) are said to be included.

These are the official Zenfone 2 variants in the Philippines.

The launch date was originally scheduled for May 10 but since it was moved to May 16, the ZE551ML variant with 4GB of RAM might be available during the launch date too.

Otherwise, the ZE551ML with 2GB RAM and the ZE550CL will be the only variants available on May 16. The one with 4GB RAM will follow later on.

All Zenfone 2 variants run on an Intel Atom processor, Android Lollipop OS, at least 2GB of RAM and has 4G LTE connectivity.
