Xiaomi has brought their high quality but affordable Mi products here in the Philippines. However, they don’t have concept stores or kiosks yet so they are partnering with Lazada.

In China, Xiaomi sells their products through their website using credit card payments. However, Filipinos are not very comfortable using credit cards whereas Lazada already has cash on delivery and other payment options.

Xiaomi will sell the Mi 3 first then other Mi smartphones, the Mi Pad and other products will follow.

As for the after sales service, Xiaomi will have seven service centers in the country. These will cater repairs, upgrades and other concerns from Filipino Mi product owners.

Xiaomi will also have 53 drop-off locations throughout the country where a user can have his phone checked then sent to the service centers for repair.

There’s also a dedicated support hotline that will accept calls from 9am – 6pm everyday. That’s definitely something that our local brands are struggling with.
