Philippine smartphone brand MyPhone posted a teaser image on its official Facebook page suggesting an imminent release of an Android GO smartphone.

This is a streamlined version of Android meant to run smoothly even in entry level devices with as little as 1GB of RAM. It’s a perfect move for the company that has been focusing its efforts on phones for the masses.

How about a ‘bang for the buck’ smartphone?

However, fans of the brand have been clamoring for a capable smartphone from the company. The upcoming MyPhone myX8 has better specs than the myX1 but it might not be able to compete with new devices from Chinese brands.

MyPhone needs to release a bang for the buck smartphone soon to win the hearts of these fans.

That might not be in the best interest of the company though. The competition is tough and the entry level smartphone market is where the brand found a big win.
