The plethora of new smartphones from the Mobile World Congress 2018 continues with the new ASUS Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5z.

Both feature a screen that looks similar to the iPhone X albeit bigger and with a smaller notch. The result is an almost all-screen front panel with an exceptional screen to body ratio of 90%!

 

ASUS Zenfone 5 and 5z Features

Aside from the display, the ASUS Zenfone 5 also has an abundance in ‘Artificial Intelligence’ or AI features. There’s AI for photography, AI for performance and even AI for charging!

All these are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 for the Zenfone 5 and Snapdragon 845 for the Zenfone 5z. This also means the latter is more powerful.

For photography, both are equipped with a dual rear camera system with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8 Megapixel front camera. Stereo speakers, USB Type-C, a fingerprint sensor and 3300mAh battery are standard too.

The official prices of the ASUS Zenfone 5 and 5z hasn’t been revealed yet.
