ASUS Philippines revealed the official price of the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus (M1) smartphone as ₱11,995.00 several days before its official launch in the country.

Tagged as “The Battery King”, it boasts a massive 4130mAh battery with an estimated standby time of up to 26 days!

Full View Display and Face Unlock

Aside from a long lasting battery, the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus (M1) is also the first smartphone from the Taiwanese company to feature a display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

There’s also a Face Unlocking technology in the device. The feature was popularized by Apple with the iPhone X but this implementation is more similar with that of OPPO and Vivo.

Dual Cameras

Another interesting feature of the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus (M1) is a dual rear camera system. It’s composed of a 16 Megapixel main camera and an 8 Megapixel wide angle secondary camera.

This means that the device can capture pictures with bokeh effect. However, previous ASUS smartphones have struggled perfecting this technology.
