Nokia 5 Design and Display
Just like the Nokia 6, the Nokia 5 is also sculpted from a single block of Aluminum. Hence the term ‘Aluminum Unibody’. This is HMD Global’s way of ensuring the durability of these smartphones.
It flaunts a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D arc edges. A layer of scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass also protects it from scratches.
Nokia 5 Processor and Storage
The Nokia 5 runs using a quad core Snapdragon 430 processor from Qualcomm with 2GB of RAM and a pure version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its operating system. This ensures that Nokia can release software updates.
There’s 16GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot for up to 128GB memory cards. USB OTG is supported too.
Nokia 5 Photography and Audio
For photography, the Nokia 5 boasts a 13.0 Megapixel main camera with phase detection autofocus, large pixel size and a dual-tone LED flash.
An 8.0 Megapixel front camera takes care of selfies. This also has autofocus and large pixels.
It has a built-in audio amplifier chip and the headphone audio is enhanced by Dolby Atmos.
Nokia 5 Connectivity, Battery and Sensors
The Nokia 5 has a dual SIM version with 4G LTE connectivity. It also has NFC support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and A-GPS.
There’s a fingerprint sensor under the phone’s home button while a gyroscope is present for AR and VR applications.
A non-removable 3000mAh battery powers the device.
