Vivo Y66 Smartphone Now Official; 5.5in Display, Snapdragon 430 & 13MP Camera
Vivo has officially launched the successor of its Y55 smartphone – the Vivo Y66. It has the same octa core processor from Qualcomm but with a larger screen.
Other improvements include a better camera, more RAM for multi-tasking including a split screen mode, double the amount of built-in storage and a higher capacity battery.
The Vivo Y66 flaunts a 5.5 inch HD display with slightly curved corners housed in a metallic body. There’s a 1.4GHz octa core Snapdragon 430 chip that’s running the show with 3GB of RAM and FuntouchOS 3.0.
It has a 13 Megapixel camera at the back and 5 Megapixel selfie snapper on the front. Its internal storage amounts to 32GB and a microSD card slot is present for expansion.
It can connect to 4G LTE networks and is powered by a 3000mAh battery that supports fast charging.

Price and Availability
The Vivo Y66 was launched in China and is now available for pre-order there. It has an official price CNY1,498 which is a little under ₱11,000.
Availability here in the Philippines as well as its official SRP hasn’t been announced yet though. We’ll post an update once these information becomes available.
